Tan - Renga Poetry Collaboration by Christina Chin (Malaysia) & Uchechukwu Onyedikam (Nigeria)

the village

witch doctor's

abracadabra

summer sun disappears

uplifting blind eyes

now gone

the chance of beauty

taste on my lips

the sweat salt

and rare meat

of rain
drenched in old memory
she comes with murder
at the sight
of a cockroach

time between us

our hearts running on muse

lover — and a friend

she is not

but a fiend

couple

wind & tree

peace of mortals

a utopian

fantasy
