Five Autumn Tan-Renga Poems by Christina Chin & M. R. Defibaugh

5 Tan-Renga Poems by Christina Chin & M. R. Defibaugh (italics) - Collaboration

Autumn

bright moon

on the mill cottage

night without torchlight

fireflies flicker enough

to be noticed

gliding

above the lake moon

bright sky-lanterns

believe prosperity

will still come

fairy

on the mooncake mould

mid-autumn festival

lotus-seed paste

in a pink jelly

offerings to the moon fairy

joss incense spirals

heavenwards

families gather

to give thanks

morning face gone

in the hours she spends

in the bathroom

styling hair

and makeup
