10 Haiku Poems by Inam Hussain Begg Mullick

10 Haiku Poems

1.

cloud and sun theatre

day long, then night invites old

dreams—the wind's dark feet.

2.

soft cities unfold

with blue towers and minarets—

night's rife manuscripts.

3.

florid amphitheatre;

lunate afterimages

of arcane lips.

4.

the wine of time's flame

in galactic libraries—

parrots' tremolo

5.

clocks strike a memory,

a shock of blue roses

serenades winter.

6.

the lithesome leaf’s pulse—

our amorphous curlicue,

blithe earth, no ado

7.

decrescendo drunk,

mystical, tender graces,

breaths—our dreams dovetail.

8.

lithographic flowers

enhance the room—the radio

is air's carpentry.

9.

woven textures of the dawn

embrace the dreaming swans—

winter's blue boats.

10.

cordate fishermen

in illumined crescendo,

moonlight, lions, viola.
