Four Poems by Barbara Di Sacco

Feet like rocks

Feet on the coast

 I turn my gaze

 that you travel.

Every direction leads

 towards horizons

 no borders.

Winds open the doors

 of the Bosphorus

 to perfumes

 of dried fruit and honey.

The sea carries and mixes.

So the sounds from the straits

 contacts

 of the earthly margins

 of exchange.

From my tongue of land

 I see and hear

 from every cardinal point

 attached

 for a small piece

 to the mainland.

Beautiful music

 flies dancing

of a thousand and more instruments

 composed.

The woodwinds play

 of wet forests

 from empty rivers

 in open and free oceans.

Sails furrow them

 of rare fabrics

 of gems

 of every colour.

They pass

 they go far

 and me

 towards them

 I raise my hands

 filtering

 sunbeams.

Garçonnière

Let's do it soon

 the phrase

 which excites anticipation.

 Hidden escape

 thrill ride.

 In a hurry

 tying pantyhose

 to the guepiere

 in tight dress

 like yours

 encircle the hips.

High heels

 they run in the perfume

 in the elevator

 by car, between city lights

 quickly

 burn the cigarette.

Gate, stairs

 shellfish dinner

 drunk

 in the fantastic ruby

 candles, from the table

 to the bathtub

 their light

 on our wave.

Those kisses smeared with wine

 lipstick

 hidden evenings

 in dark secret shadows

 of the room

 that screams holds back

 closets of moans

 closed there

This room knows about us

 that we go out

 from the keyhole.

 Charm of the secret.

We can't sleep

 after love

 we will have to leave

 mirror images

 who saw us

do it and do it again, again.

Until tomorrow

 on to the next lie.

 I carry the marks

 under the linen

 hidden

 and fixed thinking

 evasive

 exhausting

 until the next escape

 inserting the key.

Space time

This is the exact moment

 between time and wind

 where one, at least

 he stopped

 at the old station

 covered with earth.

Between petals of my hands

 almost fell

 your face

 to keep it for me

 in an eternal moment

 cherish it, kiss it.

Embrace a flower

 love

 fragrant and tired.

 He hints

 the sound of your voice

 half words

 laying them out here, now

 in my guardian temple.

Here is my caress

as long as you are sweet

 my man.

We are waiting for a train

 long walk

 towards the river

 the flight

 if you want, this time.

Abandon

 old boots

 of corroded leather

 like the soles

 continuing barefoot

 among stones

 and hot sand

 what remains.

It's still early

 to get up

 and finish making love

 stay.

 Who knows if ever

 the light will go down

and it will surprise, the sun

 our silence.

How long have I loved you

 and waited

 so, your journey

 i stopped

 like air, breath

 to keep you with me.

 watch me

 for you, I'm dancing

The Pizzica

Esoteric alchemy

 tarantula

 pinch of Salento

 compulsive

 dancing jump

 woman's body

 in exaltation

 and transportation

 diabolical trance

 black widow fabric.

 Shake the sea

 the dark dance

 penetrating the coast

 swing on the tamorra

 furious tambourines

 in the south wind.

Salt upbeat

 torpedo electricity

 convulsive, of skirts

 and swirling shawls

 suspended, suspended

 with frenzied thighs

 and bare feet.

Lovesickness erodes

 and it explodes

 with quivering breasts

 with white clothes

 and as well

 dreamers sin.

Litanies, sprinkled waters

 on ground forms

 crucified to the wrong love

 in the sweaty body

 from desire.

Barbara Di Sacco, Italian poet, Tuscan, defines herself as a painter of poetry, painting it. This is how she defines it: She is a regal lady, naked or in petticoat, so hurriedly she goes out, by day, by night. Vague, if you do not immediately welcome it into your feelings. Barbara loves art in all its forms and planet Earth. She has the presumption to save it through poetry.
