Haiku (4), Senryu (3) and Tanka (3) by Joe Sebastian

HAIKU

Spring drizzle
in the tub by the well
sun-split clouds

twilight --
far away cloud slink into
nothingness

Zen pond
a  koi nibbles
raindrops

twilight…
the growing quiet
of birds

SENRYU

winter fog
a packed train disappears
into an empty tunnel

soundtracking
my steps
the creaky stairway

child -time field
i walk
my memories

TANKA

jasmine flower
trampled on earth
wither...
the way the pious walk
on  temple pathway

on the day
girlfriend
moves in
i change the bikini-calendar
to one of flowers

plates clatter
in the cupboard
as a train passes
waking up the station master
on time
