One Poem by Yui Miyake

 




Salvation  

 

I was miserable 

I shattered with rejection  

But later I realized 

That I was despicable  

And that his action was a form of salvation  

By saving him and me 

From becoming a “we.”






Yui Miyake is a student in Japan currently studying mathematics and English. Her hobbies include writing novels by the beach and riding her bike on a sunny day.
