Twelve Haiku Poems by Joanna Ashwell

Twelve Haiku Poems

frost diary

the wildflowers

at dawn

a dreamer’s sky

this whirligig

of flakes

stone-winged

a dragon’s gaze

surveys the garden

homemade jam

this stillness

from sky

winter’s breath

the river’s crunch

overspill

indoor plants

winter rushing

back to starlight

wild horses

every trail leading

back to cloud

pine giants

the brightest sun

spindles the sky

world wide web

the minutiae

left in dew

neroli

searching for warmth

anywhere

metal pricing

the deepest band

left in skin

her kiss

left on a mitten

snow angels
