climbing over
rolling waves
summer sun



knee-deep
in sunset
summer's peak



early sun
skimming the tide
spring winds



lambing season
the hedgerow
between us



sand dunes
in the footwell
golden hour



sunny voyage
jellyfish blooms
passing us by



how a robin
breaks the peace
park violets



a young couple
sowing seeds
new year



soft rain
a cloud passes from
puddle to puddle



a hug
too short
departing train








Gareth Nurden was born in Newport, Wales in 1988 and has had over two-hundred pieces of haiku and senryu published in seventeen countries worldwide by sources such as Modern Haiku, Presence, Under The Basho, A Heron's Nest, Hedgerow, Cattails, Tsuri-Doro, The Mamba, Failed Haiku, Bottle Rocket Press, Acorn, Asahi Shimbun, Kokako and more.
