Ten Haiku by Joshua St. Claire

Ten Haiku

early moon
two heads together
in the dark

chemtrail sky
the wind whispers
wordlessly

highway interchange
a raindrop turns
to the Rappahannock

clepsydra
cold rain
fills the day

flutesong
glimmering through the quince
moonshine

dog clutch
two ants discussing
a rotting peach

a primordial black hole
in the apple leaves
raven’s wings

will these tulip bulbs
ever bloom again?
autumn burial

near gale
whitecaps
rise fall

Brownian Motion
a few laughing gulls bobbing
on the Atlantic
