Five Haiku Poems & One Poem by Anne Fox

Five Haiku Poems

prescient dream
ancient relatives
among us

spell correct
he will be mist

spider season
rivulets of rain
weave a dream

revolving door
I stumble through
another life

flight interrupted
I hang my dusty wings
on the sky

White Gloves for Church

how ridiculous
these childish clothes
when i already
a thousand years old
am your mother
all of your brothers
the daughter you birth
her father and the man
who shoots you bleeding
i save you and die
myself - over and over
in dreams - in one  dream
where i die many deaths

Anne Fox is a nature photographer living moment to moment on a tidal river.
