One Poem by Dr Mamta Mishra

DIVINE MUSIC

Half-a-life,
Muttering in the middle of sleep,
Reading a book,
That is always half-read,
Wanting to be a perfect novella,
But life is sometimes too salty, too sugary, and too tangy,
Alas! Just writing for the sake of writing it,
Nothing is too much,
Or matches with hyperbole,
Everything is moderate,
But moderate living is not alluring,
Alluring is unachievable,
Dream chases silhouette,
Again, gnomic desire,
Bringing an eerie feeling in all,
Or feeling of unfulfillment,
Just to make it alluring,
Life is neither half, nor full,
But a music of divinity,

A sense, a feeling of fulfilment,
Just like a morning ablution,
Doing everyday, unaware of it,
As necessary as dew on grass.
