EYELIDS WIDE OPEN
The shutters are wide open,
and the breath of the world has entered
You, woman, with eyelids wide open
still aching for the when,
the where, the who and the why
You, woman, cry tears of pain,
endlessly, with a why:
the why of a love
without love
HIDDEN FORCE
Quiet, then the end.
A strong wind,
threatening brings storm.
Petrine, you do not think of opposing it,
but then you put on the armor,
and you are ready to fight,
to win.
You feel fragile and weak,
but you gather strength,
a strength unknown to you.
And you fight.
You still fight,
victory is near, it is yours.
You never thought
you had so much strength.
WOMEN AT THE SEA
Women at the sea, are women who love the sea,
they live like the sea, now calm with lulling waves or
impetuous like angry billows.
In constant change, tireless,
ready to fight to ride the wave,
to grasp every change with passion,
ready to love, to risk to get involved
with courage and determination.
Women at the sea, they navigate the currents, without fear
they are lifeboats, of hope for those who are lost
they never end up rusty in the sea of life
they are a lighthouse and a guide, they are courageous navigators
they are sails unfurled, ready to capture
the wind and the force of the wave.
