Five Wonderful Haiku by Dr. Mona Bedi

Haiku

long wait–

the occasional sound

of footsteps

self isolation–

giving me company

paper moon

winter night

only the moon knows

my secrets

penning a haiku

the syllables play

truant

day moon

i fish out the last night

from the bird bath
