The Stones: A Monoku Sequence 

 

hiking trail    he listens to the stones 

 

      mountainous mind so afraid to climb

 

the wind    rose

 

      his prayer fastened to a companion star

 

wolf moon    a pendulum of silence 

 

      into the dead of night a labyrinth of aftermaths
