Two Poems by Ivan de Monbrison


 

Two poems translated into English with the original in Russian. 

 


A man without a head,

Is walking across a field.

There is nature around

beautiful.

He holds his head in his hands,

and the head sings,

a long forgotten song.



Человек без головы,

Ходит по полю,

Природа вокруг

Красива,

Он держит голову в руках,

И голова поет,

Давно забытую песню.



I’ll miss you.

You, with your four eyes,

two mouths and noses.

I will miss the kiss.

Tomorrow I will jump

from the roof,

and try to fly like a bird,

a cloud, or as a person who

has lost his wings in a dream.



Я буду скучать по тебе,

Тебя, с твоими четырьмя глазами,

Двумя ртами и носами.

Я буду скучать по целую.

Завтра я буду прыгать

С крыши,

И попытаюсь летать как птица,

Облако, или как человек, который

Потерял крылья во сне.
