Silent
Dance
After
the storm
we
step out
dancing
clouds
rolling away
full
moon
spotlight
on
you
twirling
keeping
silent
but
the rhythm
heart
beating
I
keep pace
beside
you
watching
the neighbours
opening
their doors
all
eyes looking about
joining
the dance
streets
gleaming
from
the left behind
rain
you
grin
high
stepping
splashing
sparkling
freedom!
Lifting
Us
Laughter
lifting us
out
of the depths
sky
light
butter-dipped
sun
we
love
past
the trip of lows
high
five
we
jump and clap
one
day into the other
your
kiss everlasting
your
smile
worth
all of Solomon's gold
we
embrace
making
one flower
blooming
joy
stars
everywhere.
Far
Tide
Old
man
dancing
remembering
every
step
love
dealt
long
sweep of sea
she
led him
soaking
up the sun
those
days wave washed
crystal
lights in her eyes
he'll
never forget
deep
dreams neverending
even
as he tires
feeling
the barefoot sand
taking
his last breath
hand
upon his heart
he
knows it's her
taking him home.
