One Poem by John Drudge

The Watchers

Enoch’s

Forbidden truths

Revelations

Of the world’s creation

Before the flood

Violent giants

And seductive fallen angels

Cosmic dust storms

In the eye of a fading story

The blood of Adam

Walking with God

Taken alive to the sky

Spared of death like Elija

The truth of it

Hidden in a cliff opening

The Scrolls

Of a forgotten beckoning

A special tree

And the universe

Of Nephilim

And the destruction

Of divinity

The impact of heavenly bodies

On human skulls

The birth of violence

Outside the law

Archangels and Messiahs

Collapsed

Into polluted minds

And the forbidden knowledge

Of weapons and war

And the courses of the moon

And the signs of the earth

In the clouds

Yeqon’s temptation

And the watchers of iniquity

The story of the beginning

Revealed face to face

A foundation for everything

Out of nothing

A throne from the big stone

Hardened by water

And the fires

Of a righteous faith

The rise of intimacy

And the generation of light

In communion

With the old covenants

Forbidden fruit

And the ways of the damned

Prayers broken open

Over years

Of sons and daughters

Taken from an old rib

A walk with prophecy

Back to a peace with nature

Beneath a thin veil

Between the mortal

And the divine

In a sacred space

With the wisdom of the womb

Revealed orderly

And purposefully

Like the consequences

Of our choices
