Five Poems by Daniela Voicu

Insipid  Blue

Build your favourite colour

from sunset and sunrise

what will you carve

this blasphemy of insipid blue-

to help you lose your

breath

and the neighbourhood air

when you will be thrown into the abyss

and the sounded edge

of the sea will open the heavens

dark

on the edge of this knife

called love

where only a few dolphins

will escape the slaughter...

Birds

Are departing birds

and birds that come

so are people

like birds

migrate by destiny

some return clandestinely

others remain anchored

in other dimensions

steal from these

seasons

Stone in time

a stone is not just a stone

it has its history, its life

leads to the back

traces of all passages

footprints of the air

the silences of man

which once

looked at her

(now  you child

bend down

take the stone

and place it in

time)

Hungry poem

Once thighs showed,

he will attack again,

this time not between the lines, not solitary

a whole troop of words

is counting your breath descending

awaiting the zero moment

you don’t have where to run away

neither the prayers don’t help much

maybe a beautiful woman without worries

to give self to the hungry poem

Poetic bazaars

we are so sad sometimes

for what?

our sadness feeds the joy of others

we are so alone sometimes

for what good,

when they steal us even the Salvation

let breathe the dreams from our closed eyes,

they still didn’t learn to read our thoughts,

only stealing  identities

and cheap cloning  in poetic bazaars

full of lipstick magnolias
