Magic Meadow
on a spring stroll
i meet a meadow
of dandelion suns
laughing in concert
melodiously
i catch their smiles
and hold them
in my heart
a week later
on the same meadow
i see a sky
of dandelion moons singing
a soft song
i collect their lullabyes
and sow them
in my soul
the following day
when the tender touch
of morning breeze
makes me awake
i wear my flowy dress
and step towards
the magic meadow
only to watch a galaxy
of dandelion stars
dancing around
carefree
stunned and joyous
i pick up a few
stars stuck on
my celeste dress
and blow them in turn
wishing with each while
twirling round
round
and round...
I Create Constellations
i delete predetermined lines
between the stars
in every constellation
and draw novel ones
with wavy threads
i create as many constellations
as i desire
and name them
whatever i want
each and every night
i free my mind
from the fake prison
of imposed imaginations
of the past
and let it fly
into ceaseless skies
forevermore
Perhaps It's Why Birds Don't Land On My Hands
it's been a wish of mine
to see songbirds
landing on my hands
and stay there
at least for a while
again today
i was wondering why
it's never happened to me!
but this time around
the answer appeared
out of thin air...
"birds trust
grounded places like
trees and bushes
not ethereal hands
of a flying soul
mostly absent
in her earthly body
you're uprooted
more than often"
No One Taught Us
years and years of education
many math classes
nevertheless
no one taught us
if we subtract
"art" from "earth"
the remaining would be
only "eh"
She Wears A Lot of Turquoise
she wears a lot of turquoise
like a turquoise jade vine
she wears a lot of turquoise
like a turquoise hyacinth
she wears a lot of turquoise
like a verditer flycatcher
she wears a lot of turquoise
like a rare
boho poetry
too sacred
for words
