Ten Haiku Poems by Dr. Randy Brooks

10 Haiku Poems

no curses

not a prayer

gentle daffodil rain

mussels shells. . .

one of these days

I’ll be the otter

kissing the sunfish

don’t ask

don’t tell

thump on the glass

a Phoebe can’t

close its mouth

pole beans

shimmer in rain shine

Namaste

heron feet . . .

the tadpoles conduct

business as usual

snowball fight

a policeman takes cover

behind Frosty

picking a lemon

for the widower’s pie

nice & plump

October sunshine

little water snake dons

a duckweed cap

their newborn

in a house of mourning

ghosts have ears
