Two Poems by Angel Edwards

The Ghost of the Ghost Train

The ghost of the ghost train runs every Halloween night

Racing down the tracks

to dead passengers delight

green makeup on faces of witches

no apparent train engineer

Samantha like twitches

skeletons kiss

without lips

ride seven laps

around the tracks

bow deeply

disappear

Haiku

my branch feels your touch

Our roots aware of this bliss

tree tears happiness
