One Poem by Gregg Norman

It’s an interrogation that never ends . . .

Why are you here?

Because circumstances

dictate circumstances.

What are you doing?

What I want, when I can,

in that order.

Where are you going?

Everywhere, nowhere.

I have no map.

How will you make a living?

Don’t you mean make a life?

There is a difference, you know.

What’s wrong with you?

Nothing, everything.

I’ll keep you posted.

When are you going to grow up?

I grew old, isn’t that enough?

I think it is.

Are you paying attention?

Are you asking me?

Yes, you, with all the faces.
