Seven Haiku Poems by Maya Daneva

7 Haiku Poems

strong wind
this toddler running after
a seagull feather

empty snail house...
which part of me
is gone?

deep night
the full moon sinks
into our oak’s branches

aunt’s cooking notes
never found
wild blueberries

just like
my jumpy two years old
downpour starts and stop

moon-washed
the sound of waves
around my ankles

foreclosure
alone this rubber ducky
on the windowsill

By Maya Daneva, The Netherlands.
