Five Haiku


opening the door 

for the first spring fly  -

waxing half moon 

 

***

 

when i am a ghost 

in the park swing too  -

crescent moon 

 

***

 

the doll house still

in the thrift store window  -

drizzling autumn sky 

 

***

 

the hand i reach for

in the fog 

red fallen leaves

 

***

 

even after waking 

from the dream -

light of the white peonies
