Three Poems by Yuu Ikeda

December 2nd, The Last Game

today is the last game that

i may be able to win.

today is the last game that

i should win.

today is the last game that

i must win.

after the last game,

i will fall on the ground of a nightmare,

or,

i will fall asleep in wings of an angel.

Hope

i'm stronger alone than i'm with this world.

i'm the strongest person

whenever i'm free from this world.

i'm just a human.

i can be just a human,

whenever i'm free from this world.

nobody judges me.

my face, color of hair and skin,

what i wear, age, gender, nationality,

personality, past, and,

life.

nobody can dominate me.

nobody can ridicule me.

i'm the sole free person,

whenever i'm free from this world.

“A R E Y O U M E?

the more scars i carve,

the freer i can be.

the more pain i feel,

the more comfortable my mind can be.

i'm drunk on violent me.

i'm addicted to destructive me.
