Ten Haiku and Senryu by John H. Dromey

Ten Haiku and Senryu by John H. Dromey

libraries wiped out

to papyrus train dragons

takes a lot of scrolls

dragons sabotaged

fire in their bellies snuffed out

antacid-laced feed

spy’s a fake G-man

DNA test blows cover

reveals a G-gnome

where to find an elf

in a German number list

between zehn und zwölf

when tall tales are told

Snow White’s seven companions

often come up short

to avoid toll roads

go through the underpass

there you’ll pay the troll

witch casts long-range spells

since distance lends enchantment

gets tennis elbow

E.T. breaks promise

no symbiotic exchange

leaves an empty shell

how sick can she be

backseat driving all the way

in the ambulance

rogue A.I. robot

reinvents itself

applies for patents
