The Musician within
The musician within me wants to play the ivory keys of a grand piano
And sooth the furrowed brow of those who have lost
Start with the largo of a grand symphony
Crescendo to a Mozart, Chopin for a weary heart
My fingers are tight and my heart is brimming with the softness of
Fur Elise and the light strumming of a guitar
To accompany my notes
Move into jazz for some gentle vocals
Soften the freeze of a young girl’s heart
Getz accompanies my ivory notes with the Saxophone sound of passion
Watching the girl walk along the Mexican beach
Connection, compassion in the sound of music
To bring comfort to those who are seeking peace
