10 Haiku
exit polls
the chill of fall creeps
downticket
wildflowers all the colours of the chromatic scale
october gusts
the umbrellas show
their skeletons
sunday sermon as if he knew
telling it
on the mountain
snowdrops
sweater weather
the hounds of love
from a passing car
first light
the chant
of crows
summer bloom
the nervous adjustments
of her new swimsuit
first dance
a record at the
wrong speed
sunrise
the quick banter
of garbage men
