Six Short Poems by Anushna Biswas

SCENARIO

Morning gives way to noon

Noon to the way to night

Night, an image of apprehension

Simply I cut through it

Claimed by dream.

MUSE

Love my muse

Not for any use

My fiancĂ©e hidden there

A mysterious sphere.

SUN SHINE

Super structures escalate

Poor snowed under its shadow

Lies before a green surface

Smart sun smiles on ocean face.

BOOK STORE

I stop at book store

Books display skeleton

In dark floats vision

Escape I make soon.

PREDATORS

In a land of snakes

Mongoose sneaks

Soon snakes vanish

This is no skittish.

AFRAID OF DARKNESS

Hello darkness

Why people fear you

Are you made to haunt

Or dark magic to flaunt

I dare your feature and image

That is my interior courage.
