One Poem by Thompson Emate

Nightfall at the creek,

I look out my window,

Birds take flight home.

Summer at the beach,

Radiant and bright is the sun,

Laughter at the shore.

Leaves fall off sad trees,

Gloom pervades the ambience,

The wind sighs and sings.

Lights from a distance,

They embellish the night sheet,

The moon is asleep.

Warm air envelopes,

Midday in the Sahara,

Warmth in the arid.
