Haiku Poems by Katherine E Winnick

Haiku

cold moon

beneath a cirrus cloud

a black rose

Indian Pipe

in the darkest of forests

raindrops from his skin

shadows stalking

sunlit hues lend light

to his darkest thoughts

almond eyes bewitching cotton fields

square watermelons

line the market stall

- Tokyo girl

star of saka

turning two prayer wheels

at once

healing ritual

the courage to blossom

strawberry moon

half moon

clouds float by in a

thoughtful sky
