Haiku and Senryu by Geetha Ravichandran

abandoned nest….

tender shoots

celebrate first showers

rough seas

the beach cradles

a sullen fishing boat

fluid skies…

the sudden stillness

of a sunrise

octaves

nestle in a conch

on the washed up shore

soft moon

mother’s lullaby

fills nectar in the lotus

at the curio shop

a moonstone

reflects my joy

digital detox

I count the florets

of the laburnum

gibbous moon

vain talk

fills the darkness
