One Poem by Susan Tepper

Tree to Tree

                      for Ukraine

Morning’s mercy spent

after a night dodging

tree to tree

in tatters

— a dark random

despite separation

from your source:

Know rooms will return

and whole buildings,

bridges towns gardens

Farms and the cows

bleat will rise

from destructed ground.
